Throat and/or nose surgery
Surgery can sometimes solve sleeping problems that stem from a physical cause. During the ENT test, our ENT specialist checks for obstructions in the throat, nose and mouth area.
If they find an obstruction, you may be eligible for surgery, such as:
- Correction of the nasal septum
- Tonsil removal
- Tongue reduction surgery
- Epiglottis correction, as the epiglottis often closes off the airways during inhalation.
These surgeries would all take place in Haaglanden Medical Centre.
