CPAP device

If sleep studies show that you have sleep apnea, you may be eligible for CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy. If you have sleep apnea, this means that while sleeping, there are times when your pharynx constricts either partially or completely, essentially depriving you of oxygen. To keep your throat open and prevent oxygen deficiency, a mask will blow air into your nose and/or throat via a tube connected to the CPAP machine. You will need to wear this mask whenever you go to sleep, night or day.

Our sleep specialist will explain how to use the mask, after which you can get started right away with your CPAP trial at the clinic. Our CPAP supplier is Mediq Tefa. The Care Coach will join our sleep specialists at your appointment to make sure that you can start treatment on the very same day.

There are various different kinds of CPAP masks: nose masks, intranasal masks and full-face masks. Your care coach will help you decide which mask type is best for you.

After a successful trial, your CPAP machine and all peripherals will be covered in full by your health insurer. We support CPAP therapy with a series of follow-ups and annual check-ups.
